Nirvana was my favorite band. After Kurt Cobain died, I remember his image appearing in this beautiful song “live forever”. After that, I purchased every Oasis album and they became my new favorite group. Even when times were bad, I have good memories listening to Oasis. I remember driving back home, after participating in a trash cleanup with an environmental group in college, and listening to Oasis: standing on the shoulders of giants album, as I watched the summer evening sunset pour upon the suburbs of Northampton. I felt emotionally complete.
