It can be argued that absence is darkness and from that light—information from visual stimuli. Information from audio stimuli? I truly feel like Sadistik captures both the sound and feel of the shades “Black” (Darkness) and “White” (Light) in “Delirium” and “Elysium.” Sadistik’s versatility and range is on FULL display between the two complimenting projects. The haunting trap like beats—“The Plague” by Steezy Prime, Aloe Yoroi & Arael—lyrically he handles effortlessly. No skips just like with “Haunted Gardens” which is still in full rotation. I combined “Elysium” and “Delirium” into one via Playlists for that seamless transition. If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to pick a favorite track from Delirium/Elysium I would have to say “Rainbow Roads.” It just oozes existentialism. Very simply put, I love it. “I don’t wan’t to be here but I don’t want to leave yet.” Thank you Sadistik. Overall, it is s a lyrical tour de force with A1 production from Gloel. I always get hung up on said line in particular though. Thank you brother. The sample for the chorus just makes me think of one’s younger self so ignorant to the fact that life is not for the faint of heart. More times than not one’s younger self is bright eyed with an optimism that is either envied or groan inducing. To live is to suffer. However, there is beauty. There is Light. That younger self is a reminder of or reminds one of the promises to keep. The lenses worn during that point in one’s time are not entirely off the mark. Life. Some are more fortunate than others to have been able to experience that and have that moving forward in their respective lives. Again, there is beauty...there is Light. Keep going Sadistik. You have an ear for good production. You have carved out a place and you don’t need anyone to tell you that it is all well deserved. Music is life. The only Hip Hop artists that I follow closely are you and Lupe Fiasco. Thanks again.

Doesn’t matter if it’s in the gulag, street fighter, the basketball court or putting out banger after banger.... Sad stays bringing the heat. Elysium will be no exception. Post Release update: Wasn’t wrong. An instant classic.

This album great...based on the ascension...the delivery is poetic and the music is calming...sadistik goes down as one of the best in my book!!!

Another Sadistik classic 🔥

Sadistik has always made music that I feel is from the deepest parts of my unconscious. When I first headed TBA to what I’ve heard snippets of on this album. He’s grown with me and countless others. Every album, he evolves and continues to get better. I cannot wait to see where he goes next. Sadist for Life.

I’ve been a fan since 2013 when Sadistik released Flowers For My Father and have been a huge fan ever since. His ear for pretty yet dark production and poetic verses keep me coming back for every project. There’s no doubt Elysium will be anything less than great. Keep em comin!
