I had never heard of Smash Into Pieces until this year when one of my music apps recommended the title track ”Arcadia”. I was completely hooked and loved every single prior to the release of this album. I started listening to their other albums in anticipation for this release. You will not be disappointed. Arcadia is loaded with catchy anthems to blast over your speakers any day of the week. The album is truly a triumphant return from the group’s lesser-performing last album. The blend of alternative, rock, electronic, and synthwave genres is one of a kind, setting the Smash Into Pieces apart from any other band. Though it’s hard to pick favorites, if you were to buy any song on the album I’d say “Arcadia”, “God Sent”, and “Big Bang” should be on the top of your list.
