Though no artist credits are given, it appears that Bret Michaels is actually featured on a number of these songs, even though the album title would imply that the material would be performed by other bands / artists (seriously--who puts out "a salute" to himself?) Some of the material is clearly done by other bands / singers, though. Regardless-- as I see it, this album serves to do little more than desecrate these songs and Poison itself. And, of course, let's not forget that it serves as yet a further re-packaging of the same / similar material, which Poison seems to have become qute fond of over the past decade.
