At first when I heard this song, it felt like the chorus and the verses belonged in separate songs. I felt as though the verse and prechorus built up so much and then instead of the chorus continuing to rise and bring more energy, I felt like it fell and lost that energy and therefor lacked continuity. However, after listening to it a couple times, it got stuck in my head & I liked it more and more. I still think they could have done the chorus differently and the song would have been more powerful, but the juxtaposition of the chorus and the verses also creates a story and demonstrates the tone of going from having a hard time to being open and ready for love, so the music does go with the lyrics, but I will stand by the fact that it could have been more powerful if the chorus had more punch. It’s still a great song though, and it’s unique.

I just don't think it's a good song... feels like it was written as a last minute choir project that took only an hour... anyway, stream something else worth your time.
