I like Berried Alive, their first song I listened to was Catalina Beach and I liked the fact that it was slow and easy to listen to. Bought the album that had that track and was hit or miss with what was going on. Then I got the Make It Work EP and enjoyed it a lot, again because it’s more or less a slower album without being blasted by so many different things to process. This album on the other hand is more of a “which one of these tracks REALLY stands out?” Which was really hard for me to do and I’m still deciding which I like the most.
Is the guy who wrote this talented? Absolutely.
Will it satisfy most metal heads who like to get into the intricacies of music? Oh yeah it will.
Will it appeal to all BA fans? I don’t think so.
Regardless, a lot of work went into this album and if you’re a fan of the harder and faster stuff, you’ll enjoy it none the less.

Fantastic album with heavier vibes and fun to listen to. If you miss the old berried alive sound, there’s a song called “sorry guys” that reminded me of berried alive’s older stuff. I feel the whole album is scattered with old and new berried Alive vibes.
If you’re a fan of exciting, progressive metal -this is an album to give a listen.
