Without hesitation a 5 star album!

I stumbled across Jaykeyz first full length album last year around this time. It was like entering a new dimension. I’d never heard anything like it and I look forward to his future music. He’s in a league of his own! Every song is worth breaking down but for the sake of review space I’ll keep it short with ones I feel are noteworthy.
Marie: it’s almost as if this is a life story told through a song. A picture painted of a beautiful life.
Brandy: the melodies and organ work is exceptional to this O’Jays oldies classic.
You’re the one: it has that island feel all the way through along with Dis Ya Song.
Flamingo: A jazzy instrumental with awesome key work a lot with saxophone.
Rich Kid: a head bobber and just a feel good song.
Miss sunshine: A more modern feel with great harmonies that even non reggae fans would love.
Baby U are: a smooth easy song featuring a great sax solo
My soul: it feels like you’re being transported into space around the 2:15 mark of the song. Another easy one to sit back and listen.
Shine: there’s usually one song you overlook on an album and this was it for me. The lyrics really paint a picture of our justice system today and how we need to help these people instead of locking them away forever or killing them.
Next to you: another smooth song that reminds me of a song that could have been on lovers race.
Mildred: love how the beginning and end of the album are instrumental dedications of people’s lives.
