A Standout

In an era where everyone wants to sound like a trapper, and artists are making trash in the name of striking it big in streaming, quality albums are harder to come by. But I think this album does the industry justice.
I think it’s a stretch to call this a true “R&B/Soul” album given the sheer amount of rapping throughout, but for the most part Anfa proves he’s a talented dude. This album is a pretty good mix of turn up, mellow, dance, and vibe. No two songs are thankfully alike, and the features are kept to a minimum so that Anfa displays his great vocals and flow. Another prop I'll give it is that there’s little if any degradation of women in the lyrics, which in today’s HipHop/R&B is basically unheard of. This, combined with its excellent production, made it easy to listen and vibe to. Overall, this is a really good album, and definitely stands out in the current landscape. I hope Anfa continues to develop and evolve his sound.
