  • A different, wonderful version of Tori

Compared to her other albums, this album seems like Tori singing the way she’s most comfortable and loves. It’s not bubble gum pop she’s done before, which was good, but I don’t think that’s the kind of album she wanted. This one is beautiful, shows her true singing prowess and subtle technical perfection. I absolutely love this album, especially the two additional tracks, which align more with her previous releases. Give it a listen and appreciate her incredible natural ability without the need for pop additions.

A lyrical and melodic masterpiece, with glimpses into the life & God-given purpose of Tori Kelly, the “girl with big dreams!” Hearing the prayer/prophecy to be fulfilled during her baby dedication and her own words as a little girl dreaming about singing in front of people, gives inspiration for anyone wanting to find hope in God’s unique purpose. Tori never fails to amaze with her flawless vocals, but it’s the pure musical/lyrical art in consistent alignment with her faith as a Christian that sets her apart. The album is vulnerable and genuine.
