I first heard Casting Crowns when I was preparing for my baby brother’s memorial service. Just be Held and Who am I ministered to me and I just could not stop crying. Yes, I was grieving my brother’s death but I cried at that moment because I was reminded that our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit loved me and were there holding me. Their presence filled my soul with such a supernatural “peace that passes all understanding”. Have been truly blessed by this music through the years ever since.

The only songs that are missing here are Slow Fade, Jesus Friend of Sinners, and Nobody. Add those and this would be a beyond perfect Casting Crowns Greatest Hits set! I get why those songs were excluded though (Slow Fade and Jesus Friend of Sinners didn't go #1 and Nobody is their current single) so props to Provident for actually putting out a complete and near perfect greatest hits set that really does showcase the highs of a very prolific career!
