I cannot imagine my life without this album coming to be.

I was fortunate to be 18 years old during that NYE concert. Did not realize that night that I was watching one of the greatest NYE shows that Graham put on. Wish Jimi was around. Could not imagine what it would have been like.

More previously released material. Repackaged under a different stupid album title. The epitome of the word "greed." Espicially the "album only" songs. Somebody needs to make this stop.

this music was already released & purchased and it is a total rip off to do it again. Jimi would be ashamed to see this

Because almost everything since Jimi released his first album has been a reaction to it, or derivitive of it. He created a genre of music and perfected it. This is soul, capitol "S." There have been more technically proficcient players, more harmonically complex music, but none with more passion or soul. This is what kosmic evolution sounds like. Straight Ahead.

An absolute master!!! I don’t agree with people giving this collection of the band of Gypsies recordings 1 star just because they see the greed of the family, that’s a different issue... the ratings are supposed to based only on the experience of listening to the album... giving 1 star is to give Jimi 1 star, if you have a problem with the family and think they should have finally released these recordings in full along with the other releases for free then just go to an experience Hendrix tour concert his Sister is always there, along with Billy Cox. Dental record matches don’t lie.... Jimi had two choices the easier way...change identity and career or say f u and be offed, just like prince and Chris Cornell..... I’ll give you one hint, he plays God in more than one movie... before thinking it is absurd, calling me crazy, a conspiracy “ theory”, or having trouble seeing it in his face or his manner of speaking which is all from speaking coaches... check into it yourself.... if you see this comment because it will prob be removed because of what I have said.

Well, after more than 50 years the soundboard tapes have FINALLY been released...and all the songs are in the right order at last with no edits or clumsy splices. The sound is great. Thanks!!
