Freddie at the top of his game. Even with a death sentence over his head (he received his diagnosis of HIV), Fred through himself at this project believing it could be his last, and the results were anything like a death sentence, but a vocal tour de force full of life. An astonishing feat for a “rock” singer the likes of which we really haven’t seen since in almost 40 years, and I wonder if we will again. Thank God for Freddie, and Monsterrat.

I cannot think of any rock or pop singer, male, female, non-binary that pull off a project like this. Freddie Mercury not only has the vocal chops but the writing skills to make this collection of songs authentic, thoughtful and enjoyable. Freddie was a force of nature and a true raw talent. Sourly missed, never forgotten and will never be bested.
