More beautiful music from OHalloran and Wiltshire. On the same level as Atomos, but perhaps even slower, more spare, more crystalline space between the notes. Still heavily “acoustic” with a good balance of well recorded piano and an open, ethereal soundstage with a beautiful and lush electronic wash and deep bass filling in some of the available acoustic space. Those with excellent sound systems will be especially pleased. All in all, some great ambient tracks that will delight Winged Victory fans and newcomers alike. If you’re not already into ambient/electronics, this would be a good place to start (before working your way into the Brian Eno catalogue)...
