The youngest and last son of the Winans gospel dynasty has returned after a 10-year hiatus with his first full studio solo recording. One listen and you recognize what makes BeBe a force to be reckoned with. It's not just his impeccable vocals (the man has always been able to SANG!) either. BeBe's songs have always managed to encase deep Biblical truths in simple yet profound lyrics. "Need You" finds him sharing both the struggles and the triumphs of the Christian faith in an unapologetic manner (meaning BeBe specifically refers to Jesus). My favorites are "He Promised Me", "Laughter", "Ready to Blow" and the title cut. As the opening song (featuring BeBe's baby sister Debbie Winans-Lowe) says: "It's ALL GOOD!" Keep on singing, BeBe.
