Good Luck, Kid

I saw Joseph perform live at Lab PDX in Portland a few years ago, just three powerful voices & a guitar, & I was astounded. The raw energy in both the vocals & the performance was transcendent. Seriously, I hadn’t heard anything more musically powerful before & haven’t since. I get exited every time they put out a new recording, hoping to hear what I heard that night. And after every listen, all I can do is sigh. Sure, pop sells, but it is rarely, if ever, transcendent.

Best female group ever to have existed, hands down!

I love this album. Meegan, Allie, and Natalie have earned their place in my heart. So many of these songs resonate with me, and I hope they keep releasing good, off-the-wall music.

I heard the song ‘Fighter’ on the radio today, went home, looked up the band, purchased the album. I like every song. Every song. Fighter I can’t stop listening to. Then there is Green Eyes. Awesome. Revolving Door... exceptional songwriting and feeling captured in a beautiful song. But then you get to the last song ‘Room for You.’ “Oh this lonely aching feeling should never belong to you... I hope the only hurt you feel comes from the truth.” Floored me like a song hasn’t done in years. Amazing work of art.

I love this band so much, but this one missed the mark for me. What I loved so much about them was their down to earth acoustic vibe that highlighted their beautiful harmonies and vocals. I feel this album looses that and feels too pop-ish for me sadly.

I’ve been lucky enough to have been on the Joseph bandwagon pretty early on with their first release. With each album, they’ve just kept getting better. I know that this one will dominate my playlist for the foreseeable future. Well done ladies.

The raw talent astounds me every time your beautiful voices come across my stereo. Keep doing you ❤️✌🏼.

These ladies are SO talented! This album seems to be a gradual maturing of their already impeccable sound and I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT to see it done live!
