This is quite an improvement over Part 1 - which wasn’t by any means bad, but was mostly fairly forgettable, especially in comparison to Nervous System (which only had one weak track, Just Do It, and six very strong ones that more than made up for it). Julia’s an incredible songwriter, for both herself and other artists. On her own material, she shines the most when the songs showcase her unique personality, even when they aren’t “raw”. Songs that you can’t imagine being sung as well by anyone else. The vast majority of IM2 consists of these types of songs. In conclusion, we continue to stan <3

I am seriously LOVING this new EP/album from Julia Michaels! Personally I think it is better than the part. 1 ep (parts. 2 feels/sounds more like classic Julia Michaels i.e. her first EP/album ‘Nervous System’) which I absolutely LOVED as well as ‘Jump’ the follow up single to her debut EP which I STILL cannot get enough of even after being out for over a year now! I already know that this EP (part. 2) will definitely be joining all of Julia’s other BOPS which will be on repeat for years to come!
