Masterful

Ramin is to GoT what John Williams was for Star Wars. Truly masterful compositions that elevated the show to heights it would not have reached otherwise. The season 8 score was the capstone achievement. Thank you, Ramin!

The Long Night parts one and two: 1) Bartok, (if he were alive today), found a synthesizer and just plunked keys with no real plan while on ecstasy. 2) Then George Winston got stuck on just a few notes on the piano, took some acid and got really excited when finding a few more notes. And neither fit the scenes in the show, especially part two since it made the death and destruction and despair feel like a happy dance instead.
The rest of the album is so loosely related with the music that came before that it might as well have been for an entirely different TV series.
Basically, it seems like it was rushed whereas the previous albums were very well thought out and executed.
A disappointment....just like the final season.
Sorry, Ramin. I am an admirer of your music as a whole, but this just didn’t grab me in a good way.

This is a different version from the one in Season 4. There is also an instrmental version of this song in Season 3 called “A Lanaster Always Pays His Debts.”
Amazing...

The music in this season brought the epic finale to life in many emotional (for me) ways. 8/10 season with 11/10 music.
The best part of season 8

You have done it again, sir. This soundtrack is utterly divine and gorgeous. You can feel the emotion in each song, especially The Night King (a 9 minute MASTERPIECE) and even in The Iron Throne (listened on repeat and sobbed to it several times - holy CRAP the movement in that song KILLS ME) Thank you once again for giving us such incredible music, it was ALWAYS wonderful.
Phenomenal

Whether you liked the final season or not, the score is undeniably beautiful. “The Last of the Starks” in particular is such a moving piece.
For Cersei

A beautiful combination of eight seasons of our love and hate for Cersei Lannister, musically wrapped into 4 min and 23 sec of perfection by Ramin Djawadi, topped with a giant Game of Thrones finale bow. This tribute song to a complicated and emotionally torn Lannister lioness brings tears to my eyes. Rest In peace our dear Cersei. Nothing else matters.
Amazing music — horrible season!

As bad as the season was and as much as the writers have tarnished this series—you can not DENY the beautiful music, cinematography, and compelling performances by the actors.

I can 100% say that I don’t think this series would have had the success it’s had without his music. His music makes this show so much more and it really sinks into your bones with it’s sound and emotion.
