After a long 2 year hiatus we’re finally gifted with what Jahkoy’s true sound. His last EP “Foreign Water” was a pivot in the direction of acoustic sounds that Def Jam pushed him towards... but here!? The real Jahkoy shines through and we’re blessed with smooth refreshing takes on R&B records and even the occasional dance track with reminiscing samples from Cassidy and Ne-yo’s late 2000’s hits. The album is everything the Toronto singer wanted his fans to hear. “Deja-Vu” and “Run Around” & “Don’t Be Sorry” are my favorites and hopefully lead singles✨✅
