Desplat possibly created his finest masterpiece in this film. My favorites would be Lily’s Theme, Courtyard Apocalypse, and Voldemort’s End. Also like how he used several original themes and songs for this movie.

My favorite is A New Begging because it symbolizes everything that Harry, Ron, Hermione have been through and the journey we all experienced with them. Don’t be sad that it ended but be happy that it happened.
An Absolute Masterpiece!

A must have for fans of orchestral soundtracks and/or fans of the Harry Potter film series alike. One should note that this film also includes the tracks “Hedwig’s Theme” and “Leaving Hogwarts” composed by John Williams for the first film in the series and the track “Dumbledore’s Farewell” composed by Nicholas Hooper for the sixth installment Half-Blood Prince. Obviously the Williams tracks are the classics for the entire series but I always have to place “Dumbledore’s Farewell” in between the tracks “Severus and Lily” and “Harry’s Sacrifice” in my playlist to match the order they appear in the film to truly feel that the album’s final works are full and in order. This is certainly one of the greatest soundtracks that I’ve ever heard and it’s shocking to me that it didn’t receive awards in a way that reflected it’s brilliance.
