His politics are trash but his first few albums were good

No. He’s not a legend. He’s just John. No legend. I only like Ordinary people, nervous, and All of Me. He’s a kind person with an amazing voice, but he needs to “hold tight and get ready for the ride”
  • Best album from JL imo

To the people who gave this album one star need to listen to a different genre of music because if this album is trash you should try pop music or anything else. One of the best albums of the times and i still listen to this day.
  • John Legend’s best album

I still listen to this album. There isn’t one song worth skipping. My favorite is “So High”… The only people who are hating are people who are just jealous of the man. If Kanye ever return to doing music, he needs to link back up with John again and do another one together…
  • An obviously incredible album

I remember thinking it was an instant classic when it first came out and expected big things from him. Years later and he’s not only still around but has been catapulted to household name status. So many good songs on this album and the ones that followed. Keep it up, John!

This alb is so good I had to repurchase. Definitely worth it. I honestly feel it’s John’s best work the new albums don’t compare to how good this is.

For fans of R&B or neo-soul, this is one of the best of the 2000’s. Hip-hop, R&B, gospel, soul... a really great debut album. So High, Lets Get Lifted, She Don’t Have To Know... few albums of the last twenty years can hold my attention for every song, and this is one of them.
  • Great album
