Personally I feel Kirk's voice deserved to win the competition, however I am confident his career as a well loved country singer has already begun and will soar to great heights. There is a particular clarity of quality and timbre to his voice that is unique and just draws me ..., no matter what he sings. Kirk Jay made this season special HE is special and brought me to healing tears every time he sang. His original ‘Defenseless’ had my heart in a place where I was barely breathing.. and if that’s not The Voice, then it doesn’t exist. Love this man and Blake was a wonderful coach to bring his talent into our homes. Forever a fan .....
