I feel sad for anyone who isn’t moved by Neil Diamonds songs. Such an American treasure .
Missing Duet "flowers" but otherwise OK

There are two versions of this collection identical including the same title and artwork, however this earlier version has the solo version of "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and NOT the hit duet with Barbra Streisand. I also would expand this album to be 32 songs. Among the missing essentials are "Longfellow Serenade," "If You Know What I Mean," "Brooklyn Roads," "Stones," "Be" (from Jonathan Livingston Seagull), "Desirée," and "Yesterday's Songs."
Oh YAHHHHH!!!

This is for the CD version of this album. Neil Diamond has had a very long career. Our family listened to his albums growing up and I don’t know that every one of his albums has ever been re-issued or remastered. A collection like this is really nice because it’s bringing together music from so many different albums over the years and remastering it so that it’s much more listenable. It's pretty amazing to hear these songs again with such clarity.
Neil Diamond - Great music, but hissing recording

The artist and music are great and brings back fond memories of back in the day times. But, the download from ITunes is a very bad recording with a HISSING sound throughout while being played. Why can’t ITunes use a CLEAN version of this recording? If I wanted hissing, I would have played the album I already had…disappointed ITunes!
We do play this song everytime at school

Neil Diamond, whether rocking out in Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show or schmaltzing it up in Hello, is one of the most gifted singer/songwriters. This is a beautiful time capsule of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
