I'm usually in the minority, but U2's sappy ballads make me cringe. They had TWO on Joshua Tree, and started the $$$ making trend on War. Fans love 'em, at least the fans you rope in when you set out to go big. One is awful, Bono's vocals without The Edge spinning them into orbit are awful. From here on out the band floundered, what a disappointment. The only thing they ever needed to do is get that dang mic out of Bono's hand and let The Edge create more of that awesome sound!!

And if you disagree, go see them live. Your concert experience will never be the same.

It goes deeper than the commercial hits, buy the entire album!

U2’s best album is getting a second wind from their current residency in Las Vegas, and it’s held up tremendously well. Go see them if you can, you won’t regret it

I’ve been listening to this song on vinyl since it came out and finally put it on my phone. Love it from start to finish, but lean heavy on the first two tracks if I need an immediate dose of great vibe.

The most poetically dark love songs ever written!

The is my favorite U2 album. Each song is outstanding - it is full of range, emotion, and depth. If you don’t like this one you don’t like U2. Acrobat, So Cruel, and Ultraviolet are my standouts.

This may be my favorite album from the 90’s! Can’t say enough about it! It’s incredible!
