Once again, I find that I have to stop listening to mainstream opinion. So called ‘die hard Styx fans’ 🙄 tell me that their debut is largely forgettable. Well, here’s what I have to say to that: 🖕 Other than Equinox, this is definitely the finest effort from the original lineup. I flat out LOVE What Has Come Between Us, Best Thing, and After You Leave Me. The rest of the album is pretty solid as well. An impressive debut! Check it out if you love classic prog.

An underrated album from Styx. Some good rocking numbers plus some progressive elements. Not quite as good as their 2nd LP, but an impressive debut. A steal at $3.99.
