I absolutely adore his whole album. The way the lyrics weave throughout the whole album, coming full circle with “The Silence” absolutely blows my mind. So many good songs.

When I first learned about Manchester Orchestra, I was going through possibly the most turbulent year of my life. This album specifically had not even come out, but a few of the singles had. I pre-ordered the album and it was the best musical purchase I probably ever made. The album was almost therapeutic and helped me turn the page/close that chapter of my life. Now this album represents new beginnings and it doesn’t bring me sorrow in any way, shape, or form. It brings me absolute peace and joy when I listen to it. I could never get sick of MO or this album and it is worth every cent. This album also helped me sleep at night as it played in the background. And helped keep me awake during long road trips in Scotland. It is everything. I don’t always write reviews, but upon seeing the lack of reviews for this album, I had to write something down. MO and Bad Books in general will trigger all the feels, but their music will also help you through the rough times. I am truly thankful for their music. Changed my life. Oh and they are amazing live!
