    August 31st 1997… I will never forget watching the news and seeing her car crashed beyond recognition. Elton did an AMAZING job writing this version of Candle in the Wind in honor of Diana. The first 2 songs really touch your soul and make you feel emotions as you remember how beautiful she truly was inside and out. This album will forever link Elton to Diana and how much he cared for her and expressing thru music how much the WORLD LOVED HER AS WELL. Music can really be a time capsule and remind us of better days and greater times. Candle in the Wind is such a beautiful song and only Elton can deliver it in this way where you truly feel the emotions behind every word.
