Since they first started with Bacdafucup, it’s been a surreal experience listening to these madmen ramble and shout with the force of a rally. It just goes to show that without Onyx, people like Lil Jon and DMX wouldn’t have adopted this style of rap. Songs like “Slam”, “Atak Of Da Bal-Hedz”, “Throw Ya Gunz”, and “Shut ‘Em Down” just make listening to them worthwhile. Keep it up Onyx, and you have my respect!

This album has all the elements of NYC golden age hip hop down to perfection. slick beats and basslines with horns, hooks on point, comedy, hardcore lyricism, energy on this album is sky high. Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, and Big DS... 3 the hard way.
