It’s The Police. Any greatest hits album is pointless. You simply need to buy all 5 albums, otherwise you’ll miss out on everything. They are like The Fixx… every song they released is world class. But this one is seriously lacking when it comes to his solo work. Fortress Around Your Heart. Why Should I Cry. Lazarus Heart. Russians. Soul Cages. Moon Over Bourbon St. We’ll Be Together. On & on… Buy all 5 Police Albums. Nothing Like The Sun is a must. Then Dream Of The Blue Turtles.

Terrible overplayed radio music

I love this Sting And The Police LP you get the best of both here, it has a little bit of everything. I don’t do reviews much and I don’t know all the technical details, but I know how good I feel when this music is playing and how I love to watch the videos. I saw them in concert and it was amazing. I remember good times when I play it. They are all brilliant writers, singers and musicians. Sting has one of the most unique voices in music and he’s an amazing musician and he has a great book out now too. I love Stewart Copeland he is one of the greats and it’s not said enough. Andy Summers is cool and collected (he wrote a great autobiography) and as corny as it sounds Sting and The Police are a big part of The Soundtrack Of My Life. I really hope they get more well deserved reviews and I thank them and everyone involved in the making of this great album. One thing I can’t stand is that Apple won’t let us see our videos we’ve purchased or want to purchase now unless we have Apple Tv. Sadly, I am NOT purchasing it because it’s wrong, so I’m going to go without those and go elsewhere.

I am giving three stars out of five mainly because I don’t know whether to like this, which I do because I have the original album, or to dislike this a bit because Apple seems to add stuff and not tell you about it (there are a few songs that were not on the original disk). I don’t know how much they can change legally and act like nothing has happened. More songs from an artist is great; but wait for that artist to put it out in a compilation themselves rather than have iTunes retroactively do it.
