Most artists spend their careers hoping to have that one song that hits home. Blake hits no more than that on this album for me. With that said, that one song is here. “Retrograde” is all you need to stop, listen, buy, then keep listening and listening because after all, that is what music is supposed to do to you, right? Move you it does. It’s moody, brooding and ethereal. If you want music to transport you and give you an experience, then this is the song that you should seek. If you have a soul, it is worth your time.
