The album is rather well done. My only problem is that Ward does not commit to a genre. Her bare bones blues and blues rock songs were my favorites of the album. The pop songs felt out of place on the album. I have no problem with Ward making pop songs, I thought they were also well done. But, I felt they took away from the emotion and flow of the album that the blues/blues rock songs brought. This album has definitely made me a ZZ Ward fan!
