Incredible music, original. New bands like this you don’t see come around and I don’t know if they ever will again because the market has changed.

Kev is just a wicked talented dude. The is is one heck of an original sounding album. Almost as if the Beatles and Phoenix got together and made an album together.

Topped only by Lonerism for best album of the last 20 years.

Gene Simmons has said “rock is dead” awhile ago and can still hold up in. A way, but tame Impala is one of the most original and best bands I’ve heard in awhile. Realistically, a one man band doing everything himself in the studio is brilliantly done. The sound is very nostalgic as it reminisces psychedelia from the late 60s. Lyrics are well done as well as the instrumentation, it is not meant to be, solitude is bliss, expectations, why won’t you make up your mind, desire be desire go and lucidity would mark my top favorites. Give it a listen, very pleasant and great to drive to on a bike trail or a car. I hope they come back to this or combine this sound with their new synth influence. Can’t wait to see them in October.
