Saw him in SF. Should have been at RAH! A remarkable talent who bridges 70s prog and today with great musicianship and unforgettable songs.

Steven Wilson is the Prog-Genius of this age. If you asked me 20 years ago if we would ever see someone on the level of the Prog-Giants of the 70s...I would’ve said “no that era has past”. As a fan of progressive rock since I first hearing “Roundabout” I can humbly admit that Steven Wilson has proven me wrong. This DVD/CD of of one of his 3 sold out nights at the Royal Albert Hall (no small feat for someone still considered somewhat of an “underground artist”!) Yes Elton an Eric are expected to sell out such a venue. But Steven?! How? Why? I guess I’m not alone in recognizing the power of this man to rock you into oblivion one minute, and mesmerize you to the depth of your musical soul the next.
