The story of this one is that the group had already broken up so to speak, and they had to do this album to fulfill a contract, if I have it correct. Anyway, I remember reading that they had to come in one at a time to do their vocal parts, which is of course less than ideal. Also I remember reading that their long time backup band, the famous Wrecking Crew, was not available for this album. Still, after all these years, it has a nice feeling to it for me, surprisingly.
