This whole album struck me very quickly, with its 70s anthems and chill vocals. I have been listening to this on repeat for the past week. I definitely recommend this whole album to everyone. You will not regret this purchase.
Clean, funky sounds

I found out about Parcels after they collaborated with Daft Punk on "Overnight", a great hypnotic disco track I've listened to about 50 times. Once I heard "Older" on their Hideout EP, I knew these guys were for real. They're the full package: beautiful harmonies, addicting chord progressions, funky riffs. Great debut album from some very talented Aussies.
Get your chill groove on!

Got this playing on heavy rotation! Parcels are a 21st Century Steely Dan in the best possible way. Sleek, smooth, and sophisticated elegance with a funk groove. Chill and be cool, my babies!
Perfect!

I gave this album a chance as I am always looking for new music. I was struck that this will be future hold music while waiting for your banker or what you might hear at the grocery store while shopping for beans. I think this is most enjoyed as ambient music for those that work in an office. I did enjoy it for what it is. Perhaps if their next album is '80s style and then a '90s or '60s relaese, could be a fun band to have in your collection.
Future of Disco/Funk

This band is the perfect representation of what would come if Daft Punk birthed a baby after Random Access Memories. They aren't mimicking what Daft Punk did but are influenced by them and make their own beautiful sound. Honestly one of the best albums of the year. Very different than what a lot of artists are making right now. Give it a full listen it’s a journey of an album.
