I’m 14 and this album is 6 years older than I am and it freaking slaps. There is so many highs in this album it’s amazing. Even the weaker songs are still amazing.

  • Great Rap Album

In the world of fake rap today, we look back on the albums that gave us our love of hip hop. Mr. West may be an interesting person, but there is no denying that his raps are superb to the likes of ASAP Rocky and Ty Dolla Sign. West flows with ease and his delivery really gets the message of the album across. He was phenomenal as a producer on JAY-Z’s “The Blueprint”, but they overlooked him as a rapper, as he clearly uses his skill to flow and rap with heart and soul. Highlights for me are “We Don’t Care”, “Spaceship”, “Jesus Walks”, “Get Em High”, “The New Workout Plan”, “Slow Jamz”, “Two Words”, “Through The Wire”, and “Family Business. Definitely download or buy this.

Say what you want about Kanye, but there’s no denying he’s a brilliant producer and sampler. He takes bits and pieces of old school soul tracks and speeds them up and chops them up to make something completely original. Great hooks and rhymes. This was Kanye at his peak when no controversy surrounded him in anyway.
