If you love HIP HOP this album should be featured in your collection. It still turns heads 25+ years later.

90s Blueprint Hip-hop. Gritty, Raw and obviously Street Level. If you don’t have this and aren’t rapping right along with it, You don’t know Hip-Hop. DL this.
  • Classic, worth the wait.

This is the album that made me fall in love in the East Coast. I love all the Native Tounges but Beatnuts was my gangsta rap. Speaking of Native Tounges please distribute all the De la Soul early albums and complete the Alkaholiks 3rd album LIKWIDATION. Thanks again for doing this Beatnuts full EP album.

Firstly, Street Level is the only full length album released by The Beatnuts as a trio (Fashion a.k.a. Al' Tariq left the group to release his solo album God Connections in 1996). That said, this follow-up to their 1993 EP is hands down their best work. Speaking of their 1993 EP, Intoxicated Demons set the bar pretty high and Street Level is in a class of its own. The singles Props Over Here, Get Funky and Hit Me With That are just a sample of what to expect on this album as not a single track disappoints. The last track Psycho Dwarf is from Intoxicated Demons so if you haven't heard that EP, you're missing out.
  • It’s about time.

Classic album. All that’s missing now is “Stone Crazy”. Stop slacking and make it happen.
