This album is fantastic. He is so raw and real. It's amost like a live album where you can hear a feel the emotions along with him as he's singing. Really really great!

In 1995 I fell in love with "the guy that wrote songs about bad break-ups" in Claremont, CA. To this day, I love to listen to "Never Forget My Memories" and I still havn't forgotten.

Matt Nathanson is one of the best musicians in recent history, not to mention one of my absolute favorites. This is his first album and it is quite good. Some of my favorite songs are 'Solace and Pain,' 'Illusions,' 'Lost Myself in Search of You,' & 'Naked.' If you have heard any of his recent stuff and like it, I recommend giving this album a try. It is a very strong effort for a first album and his music only gets better as time goes on!
