I am not a huge country fan, but I love this album. Most artists, in the latter stages of their career, enter the geezer phase, trot out nothing but stuff they wrote in their youth and only perform for a bunch of blue hairs that are clinging to their lost youth too. Not so Willie, he is in his 80’s and still producing some of the best stuff of his incredible career. He is the Bob Dylan of country. Looking forward to your next album, and the several after that. Thank you Willie.

I'm sorry but this album needed someone to go, Hey Willie, go back and clean up the lyrics on these songs. The lyricism is just not musical...! Sorry Willie, I'm a huge fan but I'm not buying off on this one.

Downloaded Last Man Standing this morning and have listened to it all day. Can not decided which song I like the most. This is classic Willie with great lyrics and melodies. Some ode's to aging for sure - which I relate too. If you like Willie Nelson you will love this album. And yes it nice to understand the words and to be able to sing long quickly.
