First let's get this straight; this is not alternative hip-hop this is real hip-hop!!! The people that are in charge of coming up with names for the categories and placing artists in said categories, needs to be replaced. Soulja Boy is not HIP-HOP, Unk is not HIP-HOP, and A Bay Bay is not HIP-HOP. This is the alternative rap not Hip-Hop.

I haven't even bought his albulm yet but I know he got the talent I herd him through the podcast indie feed and It was banging then. He reminds me of a Talib Kweli, or even a Common not as great as them but he has the potential to be a great like them. But I will be coping this album 2nite Peace

to tell you the truth, i dont think ive ever even heard of this guy, but i saw the cd on the hip-hop/rap page and had to listen to it. this is what rap music needs. someone that doesnt blow, like lil jon, D4L and so on. even though, as someone said in another review, his style is somewhat like that of a tribe called quest, the tribes gone now, and we need something like that in hip-hop today. ill give it a 4, cause its not the best, but its actual music, not just some broke guys trying to make a sex song by repeatedly sayin the name of a candy (made by willy wonka) ~PRC~

the problem with hiphop rite now is 1-hit-wonders, relatin their trife life, but that aint wordsworth. wordsworth brings it back to mid-90's when the rap was real and the skill still ill. i like every song - the album shows serious work for love of the music instead of love of money

I like it...good alternative hip-hop. Not as good as the Hieroglyphics or People Under the Stairs, but it's good. I'd take this any day over Nelly or any pop-crap like that PS: Import Tuner, cool it man. I just didn't like the Dudley thing. I got nothing against you.

Im lucky I got to be the first to write a reveiw; I got to it before all the mainstream underground-hating rap-lover posers trashed this forum up like they did to the dudley perkins forum :(. Anyway, this is a great album, amazing trax for an underground artist, and great lyrics: Wordsworth goes up next to Juve and Cham on my list. Way to go!

Oddisee's beats are undeniably dope, and Wordsworth rides each track like only a pro can. Inspiringly dope.
