hmmm...
this isnt just a little bit westernized
everything is.
the only thing sri lankan about it is the sinhala
but some of the songs do hava good beat.
i went to one of their shows once, they were not so bad live.
its an ok album.

Check this music out. Explore the cultures around the world. Although this music is sort of westernized, it still keeps some Sri Lankan culture about it. I live in America, but visited Sri Lanka. There is so much more to the world than America, and this album put together by Bathiya & Santhush and thier crew is an example. This music goes further in an attempt to join the Sinhala language with the Tamil language. Politics and greed in Sri Lanka have generated civil war and barriers between Sinhalese and Tamil people. The majority of the population on both sides would like to see this end. Neththara Project 4 is one of many examples of the younger generations trying to get beyond the Sinhalese-Tamil problem and bring all Sri Lankan people together to enjoy each other. We need more music like this on iTunes. I personally would like to be able to find more Sri Lankan music on iTunes.

These two have a lot of talent. A new blend to Sri Lankan music. Have all four albums and each new one is better than the previous. Can't wait for the next one. Buy it all you lankans and desis out there who own a pod. You won't regret it.
