I just started listening to this genre and I have to say, I believe I am using a really good artist to engrave this genre into my conscious.

I can listen to every song on this album over and over and not get sick of it. I love the way he weaves in the melodies without being too obvious and he throws in some attitude when you least expect it. My favorite song is definitely the fool and the humming bird. I can see exactly what is happening in my head. Just a wonderful album.

  • Disappointing Muzak

I bought this album first because Kater's "Compassion" album is excellent, and second because the samplings here sound pretty good. The full album though disappoints, sounding like trite, new age music aspiring to some level of emotional expression but never reaching it. If you like this sort of gentle piano, try George Winston instead (December for instance). If you're looking for more sophisticated, yet peaceful, insightful piano instrumental, try one of Keith Jarrett's solo piano concertes (Koln or Bremen / Lusuanne).
  • I adore this album.

Piano is my one true love. Across all genres, Piano makes me smile. On its own and in Peter's vibrant style, I'm madly in love. Espresso stands out as a favorite, but this entire album is incredible.

I do software development and am looking for some soothing music to program by. Chick Corea's "My Spanish Heart" is a good choice; then I starting looking for more Piano music. Soothing music. I came across this album and read the previous review and decided to sample a few songs. I haven't heard 'em all yet, but decided to buy the album. I've originally rated this 4-stars, shy of perfection. But I decided to raise it to 5-stars after listening to the entire album, since it provides a great background to my software developement. Each track is good, which is usual for most albums.
