I absolutely love this soundtrack! My mom got to see the original cast off Broadway. Lin-Manuel Miranda is so talented!! I thought it was interesting how Lin wrote this musical in college! This soundtrack is definitely one of my fav’s of Lin- Manuel’s

Lin-Manuel Miranda is a phenomenal writer - his overlapping melody style is both flawless and unique. There’s nothing quite like this, and for good reason; anything other than this musical would pale in comparison. It has a wide range of song style, which helps it appeal to a larger audience. In addition, the charm this musical displays is so endearing. 5/5!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved In The Heights years ago, but then I just kind of forgot about it. I’m so glad I started listening to it again. This musical is very underrated. Everything is just so masterfully written, Lin Manuel Miranda is a genius. The album is definitely worth buying.

This feels like home to me some of my family lives in Florida and they love salsa and I grew up around that genre of music so this feels like my home in song form !
