A beautiful album

This is a beautiful album. I canāt take anything away from that. Some people are thrown off by P!nkās style, but personally, I get it. Itās P!nk, and if you donāt like it, you donāt have to listen to it, period. This album, overall, was much more slower than her previous effort, The Truth About Love, and Iām not going to complain. I took a lot away from this album, and while some people may say it was ābleak and depressingā, I personally think it was beautiful. The way she ended the album so magnificently with āYou Get My Loveā (on the list of some of her best ballads, might I add), was a genius choice. Now, on the political side of things, I donāt have to agree with her politics, but nonetheless, she still has good music. A really great, quality album. I think people are still used to P!nk consistently putting out Punk songs, and with this album after a five year return, ripe with ballads, I think it threw many through a loop. But I still love it, and when sheās ready to release more Punk songs, sheās ready. There are a few sheās released, just not comparable to what she released before. But until then, I think weāre at a stage in her career, where she still doesnāt care as much what people think, but she doesnāt need to have this hard facade where she shouts and shows her stripes. She sings from where sheās at in her life, and if this is where sheās at, this is where sheās at. Iād rather have something organic, than stilted and forced.
