You can have your own political opinion but your songs don’t need to be influenced by them. Good songs but whenever Christian music groups get political they stop singing about god and Andy what’s with your new albums they don’t sound like the you I love.

Lyrically, this album addresses part of the Christian faith walk of which is rarely spoken. Chad's poetic insight and creative bulk voice a commonality that resonates among God's children and will have you bumpin' and weeping along the way. It's best to listen to this album from beginning to end to feel the full affect of the simple-complex message. May this be life-changing for you.

I’ve listened through this album 3 or 4 times through in just my first day of owning the album, and I’m just as impressed as always with KK. The fluidity of the album is by far the best I have seen from their discography. There’s a cohesion that’s unmatched in the Christian music industry. It’s just so funky. Where this album falls slightly short is in the lyrics. It’s possibly the weakest out of its brothers “Becoming Who We Are” and “Beyond Control.” Granted, although it is weak for them, it is still stronger than most. If anything, I just wished there were a song with lyrics as hauntingly convicting while relatable as “A Prayer” or “Light After Darkness.” I digress, get this album you’ll enjoy its freshness.

A friend recommended this album to me. So unique. So rich. So honest. So God-inspired. The level of variety on this album is astonishing. And they have big band instruments! They implement them so masterfully and, it’s just so good!

I'm always amazed at how they CONSTANTLY up the ante with every release. This record is amazing! I don't care what type of music you listen to you'll love anything that they release. "Safe Retreat" is my favorite song on the record so far but with any Kings K record it constantly changes cause it's all good. The cream of the crop is how I would describe this record! This record has been on repeat since the release and it will probably be on repeat till their next record. Get this record! You NEED it in your life!

In this humble reviewers opinion 'The Beauty Between' represents an incredible leap forward in the progression of Kings sound, and I don't say that lightly given how much I've enjoyed their previous outings. Chad and company have created something unique, meaningful, and tonally beautiful. 'Beauty' is an absolute joy to listen to and I would recommend it to fans of any genre. I imagine I will have it on repeat for some time!

This album shows the amazing talent,focus, and ambition of this great band. There is no fat on this album, just meat. It is short, however, I don't think this particular album could've worked any other way. They are continuing to perfect their sound.
