After the Diplomats cut their first funk cut and last Diplomats record, "She's The One," the band morphed into the Skull Snaps, the legendary crown jewel of funky New York in the early-to-mid 1970s and a defining force in Hip Hop beats that still linger today.
In 1973, the Skull Snaps cut their legendary album containing "It's A New Day" which is one of the most sampled joints in history, close behind the likes of James Brown's "Funky Drummer" and The Honey Drippers' "Impeach The President."
The Audible Doctor and TEN12SYSTEMS team up with the Skull Snaps to create their first authorized release since their 1973 album.
