I’ve been a fan of this incredible Michigan band for quite awhile. Odyssey is a Masterpiece. The song writing is brilliant. The music is so well crafted and performed. I think 2018 will be the year this amazing band breaks out on the strength of this album. This is the type of band should be seen on SNL.

This is one of those rare albums that gets even better every time I listen to it. All of their albums are great and they find a way to make each one a little different. Everyone will have their favorite song and mine is Chekov's Gun. If you like creative lyrics with interesting ideas and stories to tell, the Accidentals are as good as it gets - bar none. If you have a chance to see them live, just do it!

I've known this band and these people for a long time now and seeing them grow as musicians, entertainers, people is remarkable. I would have liked anything.. but this .. this .. this album is beyond .. way way beyond what I ever expected. I love it. I cried though much of it. The lyrics are deep and meaningful... the music is skilled and balanced right,.. the simple beauty of it is exactly like the three of them.. exactly their personality. If you listen to this, you will know them... they give themselves here. Buy it. Congratulations to all who made or helped make this happen.

Just heard the whole album through an NPR First Listen. In short: holy moly this band writes incredible songs. Infectious melodies, insightful lyrics, real performances. Was familiar with a few of them already and they sound great on record. Was really groovin to "Sound A Watch Makes When Enveloped In Cotton." Some of the other songs I hadn't heard before like "Earthbound" and "Cut Me Down" will be in my head for the foreseeable future. Really amazing stuff. Looking forward to it being released!
