This bears zero resemblance to Quiet Riot. It is truly dreadful on every level. Who in this band thought any of these songs were actually good??
THE DRUMS SOUND GREAT!!!

I love the way the drums are recorded on this album, very atmospheric, You can hear the idiosyncrasies of every piece, it’s like you’re standing in front of the kit while Frank Banali is playing. It’s a great example of well recorded drums.
Criticism is unfounded

This sounds great and is totally consistent with classic Quiet Riot. James Durbin is an inspired choice for vocalist. Hope to get more albums from this lineup.
Can’t replace the legend

There are alot of things wrong with this record. The music and production failed and I think that is making James fail as well. Take a minute and listen to the 1st 2 albums and you can feel the energy and you production was incredible and tech was no where close to what we have today, Backing vocals sound like they want ro jump in front of a subway just torture to the ears. James is not the right vocals for a band like QR and don't get me wrong rock music needs people like Jame to keep it alive. It's ashame I really wanted to like this album!
