An album that was already a masterpiece as it was made even greater with a new LP's worth of additional material. In other words, OKNOTOK is just as good as OK Computer.
  • NO SURPRISES: It's (again) Radiohead's finest

With it being 20 years since the original release of OK COMPUTER, the remastered 1997 album again tops charts. With every beat sounding so clean-cut, the album once again is reaching a new generation of music lovers. This remastered album is a gift to the long-time listeners and followers of the band, and a newly discovered masterpiece to new listeners. With unreleased works such as "Man of War" and "I Promise" appearing on this album, it makes for a deeper experience to the original album.

How does this album still sound like it could have come out today and been prefectly relevant? Just a masterpiece. Will never age.

So great to finally hear studio versions of songs that have been drifting around for 20 years. A fantastic edition of one of rock's greatest albums.

I've been a fan of Radiohead since I first heard Fake Plastic Trees in a record shop 20+ years or so ago. I own OK Computer on vinyl (original UK press, and a Danish press) and CD. So to see a RFiT OK Computer come out -- complete with three songs I've been waiting on for years -- is quite exciting!! I hooked up to my Revel M22 monitors & was absolutely amazed at the sound quality compared to the CD master. There is great separation between the instruments & wide stereo; classics such as "Paranoid Android" and "Karma Police" resonate with warmth and clarity in a way the original CD never did. I know I might take some heat from this but I swear this remaster sounds better than my vinyl & tube setup...yes, better than the original VINYL, this edition. Of the three "new" songs, Lift is my favorite early on, although I Promise is also a joy to hear. The extra material is a nice bonus & makes this edition quite an excellent value for $15.99 and I highly recommend this to Radiohead fans even if, like me, you are purchasing the same album for the fourth or fifth time.

Why is that song not listed in track 3? That's probably my favorite song. Great album, their best.
  • So much better than I expected

I can hear so much more detail in every song. And I think Man Of War might be one of their best songs ever!
  • Second time is even better
