Something To Tell You

It contains, in my opinion, the best HAIM song to this day; WANT YOU BACK. Catchy, hooky, poppy, it is the only Haim song I never get tired of listening to. PS: Also thier best music video - hands down.

These young women are very talented. I love how they interact with each other. And, yes, Baby Haim is the biggest flirt. It would be nice if they would release a Live album including songs like Oh Yeah etc. in addition to their own songs played with a more aggressive rock twist. They are said to have released 3 albums but I can find only 2; is one of their “EP”s considered an album?

If all HAIM ever releases are the two albums they currently have out, they will still be a landmark band for time to come. While many bands nowadays assert a particular tradition-image-brand, these three ladies are inadvertently authentic by not contriving who they are as a group. The HAIM sisters aren't afraid to experiment, transcend their respective instruments, and compose very fresh sounds in the studio and beyond. I hope they keep it up.

After hearing music from their first album, especially their live performances with an edgier sound, I became a big fan of Haim. Then, with how long it took this second album to come to fruition, I feared it would be a let down. Music and personal tastes are subjective, but, for me, this album lost all of the magic from their first one, filled with throw-away/filler songs.

Is this the debut? no. Is it something that I would never expect for them to put out after 3 to 4 years making? no. But do I accept the fact that no artist(s) keeps the same sound? yes.

This is my favorite album to listen to. It was my favorite when it came out, and I still haven't found anything I like better. HAIM rocks.

I LIVEE FOR THESE SISTERS

I discover these extremely talented sisters on their 2nd SNL appearance. Fell in love with current album and also purchased the prior album. I can’t count how many times I’ve listened with my Bose headphones and speakers. I have recommended them to many young friends and nieces. Oh did I mention that I am a 71 little old lady?!!
