This is an amazing collection of original compositions. They were written from the heart and cary deep meaning. I have my own copy and purchased one for my nephew. I listen to this CD on my way to and from work. The songs are calming and humbling, but specifically for anyone who knows this amazing person and the story behind the songs.

This is a special set of songs - quiet, soulful, stirring. Dahlander's setting of Be Thou My Vision is among my all-time favorites. His original compositions are the reason to buy the album - I came back to Midthought after the first listen countless time.
